Clean the bucket after each use.
Clean the bucket with water after each use. This helps to avoid discoloration. If your XperCount needs to be disinfected, only use alcohol, Virkon or a typical bleach solution (5.25% sodium hypochlorite) diluted 1:25 v/v with water.
Never use abrasive cloths to clean the inside of the bucket. This can lead to scratches or gouges on the surface of the bucket that can negatively affect the accuracy of your measurements.
Clean the lid with great care.
To clean your XperCount‘s electronic lid, first shut down your device and unplug the power adapter. Dampen a clean, lint-free cloth with just water and wipe the lid, touchscreen and lenses with extreme care. Keeping clean camera lenses is crucial to ensuring consistently optimal counting and measuring accuracy. Don’t spray liquid directly on the touchscreen. Never use alcohol to clean the electronic lid.
